No matter how meticulous you are when you do things, for the mere fact that we are humans, mistakes will always be made.

I made a costly mistake a few days ago and I only found out about it today and the delayed reaction has set me ablaze.

I was livid and I was tempted to beat myself up but I had to remind myself that I'm still human and it's in our DNA to make mistakes.

Everyone makes mistakes and that's okay. We all make mistakes when we speak, when we design, when we code and there's no good that comes out of beating yourself up about mistakes.

One of the rules of mentally strong people rings true right now; Mentally strong people don't waste time feeling sorry for themselves.

I'm not wasting time feeling sorry. I made a mistake, I take responsibility for it and I will never make the same mistake again.

PS: In case you are interested in the mistake, I bought a domain name for a client and I forgot to add a character making my purchase useless and costing me cash in the process. If you know me, you know I hate losing money but what is done is done.
