I came to a realization yesterday at the basketball court, I suck.

We played a game of 3 on 3 and after the set, I went over quietly to my friend and said "It sucks to realize you are the weakest link."

I was a team with 2 of my friends who have been playing for a while; It was so obvious I was bad that the opposing team would give me the ball and make me start the offense. Whenever I tried to get past my primary defender, 2 out of 3 times, it was stolen.

My friend coolly replied "I was once the weakest link, it happens to everyone. That's why we keep coming". I thought about it for a while and put this away.

This morning after my meditation, I saw this quote

No matter how bad or slow things go, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn't even trying

I'll be there to suck on Wednesday.
